Something to Think About

Les Brown, a noted inspirational speaker, and author of the DVD Step Into Your Greatness, tells the story of one of his friends, a salesman, who was in financial trouble because sales were down. Les asked him, "How many phone calls are you making a day?" His friend answered, "Twenty five."

Les didn't hesitate with his advice. "Double them," he said. "Make fifty. Or seventy-five. Or one hundred."
The salesman answered, "Aw, man. that's too much."

"Too much!" replied Les. "You tell me that you are behind on your bills and then you say it's too much. You know, one way to get back on your feet real quick is to miss two car payments. How can you say anything is too much when you have everything at stake?"

The advice Les Brown gave his friend needs to be heard by people everywhere. It's amazing what we can do when we're "hungry" for success. Most people who say "I've tried," haven't scratched the surface of their potential.

Saying "I'll try" really means " I'm not really committed "

Today, why not make a commitment to achieve your personal best?

You Gotta Do What You Gotta Do

Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! Certainly thought provoking

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1 : Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2 : The world doesn't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6 : If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7 : Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now.. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8 : Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9 : Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10 : Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11 : Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

If you agree, pass it on..

If you don't agree stick your head in the sand and take a deep breath!

Recent Information I sent out to some friends!

Hi There,

As you know we’ve got this thriving part-time business with UK Company of the Year Telecom Plus Plc. We’re thriving on the back of the recession. Please read this article to see why the timing is key for NOW! . The business runs in the format of a Discount Club allowing big shops like ASDA, B&Q, Marks + Spencers and TopShop to contribute to a customers household bills when we shop in their stores, the core services of telecoms, energy and mobiles are all the best in the UK without question.

I help coach and mentor people to be successful in their first steps in the market of word of mouth recommendations. Most people do not have experience of sales and marketing so we keep it simple and only use tools that work (mainly their gob!). All training is free from the company and the support is given in a team atmosphere at fabulous events up and down the country and locally too. See http://www.welovetheclub.co.uk/ and press ‘earn with us’ for an intro video. :

Amongst many others we’re currently helping lots of people to succeed for whatever reason they joined. If you read my article above you’ll see there are millions of people looking for our help right now but need the support in place to take the plunge – this is our proudest asset

Previously the ‘deposit’ to start the business was £199.75 it has now been halved to £99 incl VAT. New partners get a £500 bonus for finding their first 12 club members (people who want to save money) within a 3 month window after full training (plus of course any commissions earned on the way).

If you can put me in touch with anybody who is thinking (or needing) to set up their own business, add to their income, needs a safety net for the future or to bolster their pension arrangements please let me know. You might just be able to help somebody in their time of economic need. The share price hit £4.80 today and we fully expect it to be £10 over the next few years, if people need the right horse to back but without big risk this is it!!!

Remember it’s http://www.welovetheclub.co.uk/ ‘earn with us’.

Very Best Regards and Thank You

Pyramid Scheme

Business of the 21st Century?

This is my first penned article about the industry....please be gentle!

Many of your friends, colleagues, your boss and maybe you and your family are sat uncomfortably about the future. The headlines bombard us every day with rising mortages, falling pensions, more unemployment and tighter finances. How many people have mentioned to you about 'wanting to run their own business' in the last 12 months?

In the 1980's the recession combined with the drastic Thatcher reforms led to Franchising coming of age, when 000's of people applied themselves to proven business models, training, support and even marketing assistance. The Franchisees job was to provide the 'action' the company the product. It's a little known fact that when franchising was finding it's feet in the middle of the 20th Century it was very close to being banned as a 'pyramid scheme'. Think about it, pay for business, get no help, fail miserably. Franchising had to grow up quickly and indeed it did - through systems, processes and training. McDonald's University isn't an urban myth!!

Our very own car leasing business is part of a very successful franchise run by the world's largest leasing company. Systems, training, conferences, awards, coaching - all included, we simply fuel the fire with activity to get the business in the door!

Alongside this Franchising pheonomen there was a similar business model car-crashing it's way through the economy- Network Marketing. The model is simple, use the product, recommend it and build a team of motivated people doing the same. The problem was a massive failure rate, no systems, no training, only the go-getters ever succeeded and they were few and far between in the early days. Have you seen the adverts 'Entreprenueurs Wanted' and thought "SCAM" ? I did too and this is why millions of people have not responded - risk-taker, pioneer, all or nothing - just isn't most of us is it? Franchising allowed people to go half way and now............

Jump forward 30 years. New Government, drastic fiscal measures, almost certainty that things aren't going to get better for most of the UK. It's a mirror image of the conditions that sent franchising mad!

Millions of people need to do 'something' but aren't sure how. The banks aren't lending to start a new business, even a franchise can cost £50,000 or more and 5 years just to break even. More importantly that desk in the corner is lot more secure than going it alone. But guess what - Network Marketing has come of age. Training, systems, support. No more wooping and holloring!! Start up fees are low and often recouped quickly if new people 'plug in' to the system. Network Marketing can offer people the opportunity to develop a business part-time whilst remaining in their secure job 'for now'. With expert coaching, unlimited training, fabulous personal development and if taken seriously an opportunity to be free of employment in a relatively short space of time. I would suggest 2-10 years dependent on the person, the company, the products etc.

It isn't for me to say which opportunities are better than others, as I don't know the details about the others. I do believe that when operating in a recession the product of 'saving money' is fairly appealing to most people. I might struggle myself to ask my contacts to 'purchase' something. Hence the products associated with my company are certainly not 'sexy' yet everyone uses them. Those services being shops, petrol stations, telephones. mobile phones, energy and the internet. The core services regularly achieve awards from leading consumer publications. All we do is take the shop to the customer in an age of 'over-information'. NOTE: this isn't about selling utilities it's recommending a Discount Club.

After just over a year of learning, listening, copying, training and being coached (doing as we're told) myself and Nina are now helping dozens of people 'plug in' to the system to copy just what we did (and lot of what we didn't). We are working with a FTSE 250 business operated by the creme de la creme of City talent, they gave me share options for doing well, we're on target for a holiday for doing what we'd do anyway. We have direct access and first name terms to some of the most established and biggest earners and we have a 100% will to provide a secure, proven and achievable business for those willing to learn. AND OUR MAIN JOBS HAVEN'T SUFFERED, in fact we've got better at them

That's enough about us....what about you? What's your priority? Time, Security, Freedom, To work for yourself, additional income?

Need more information? We don't bite, simply sharing the concept is our job not signing you up
